Position Summary
DY Piston USA, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ERP Quality & Sales Specialist to support quality control, OEM customer communication, ERP system improvement, and sales operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to manage both quality and sales functions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the main liaison at DY Piston USA, Inc. for daily and weekly communication with OEM customers including Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Stellantis (MOPAR) regarding Quality and Sales matters.
• Manage and analyze collected test data and prepare quality reports for submission to the parent company to ensure proper quality control of assembled pistons.
• Analyze DYP USA’s quality requirements, procedures, and issues to enhance existing ERP-based product sales management systems.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain FIFO compliance, and oversee inbound and outbound logistics while ensuring product quality prior to warehouse storage and delivery.
• Review and manage monthly claims data received from GM and Ford and assist in determining supplier-related quality issues.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable (AR), monitor billing status through customer communication, and provide monthly sales production order reports to the CEO.
• Evaluate development, production, and quality systems from a sales and customer service perspective; conduct system landscape assessments for product distribution.
• Prepare monthly closing reports, including defective quantity identification, major defect analysis, and quality cost management reporting.
• Develop and maintain quality project information in SQMS ERP, APQP, and IMDS ERP systems to control product quality and sales performance.
• Evaluate products based on internal specifications and processes to verify compliance with customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished goods and immediately address or replace defective items.
• Provide solutions and continuous improvement recommendations for quality issues, customer requests, and claims.
• Conduct internal audits in compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal quality standards.
• Confirm daily inventory and transaction status with warehouse vendors, when applicable.
• Identify current and future customer service requirements by building strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Support long-term strategic planning initiatives to improve efficient and cost-effective quality processing and communication systems at DYP USA.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Quality, ERP systems, Sales Operations, or Manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with ERP systems and data analysis tools preferred.
• Experience communicating with OEM customers preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and quality control processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus.
