We are currently looking for qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educators to engage with children, and help plan and run activities that support the best interests of the children and the Playroom team.

The Role:
BearChildCare Centres are looking motivated, passionate, professional, enthusiastic Educators for our exceeding NQS Miranda & Roselands Centres.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Room Leader to set up materials and equipment for children’s learning and play and assist with the implementation of daily routines.
• Building and maintaining strong, respectful relationships with children, families, educators, and the community.
• Encouraging children’s positive behaviour and helping them develop social skills.
• Planning and running fun activities for the children by creating engaging, play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity and creativity.
• Maintaining a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, respected, and included.
• Supporting children's wellbeing, development, and learning in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• BearChildCare are strong advocates for child safety and child protection. This must align with your professional philosophy. You will be required to actively uphold and promote Child Safety Standards, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children is at the heart of everything you do.
About You:
A current Working with Children Check is required before commencing employment.
A minimum Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required.
Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including:
• National Regulations
• National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
A minimum of 12 months full-time (or equivalent) work experience in early childhood education and care is required for this position
A genuine passion for working with children and the early childhood industry, along with strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills is required.
An understanding of the EYLF and a commitment to providing high-quality early learning experiences are important, as is an ability to motivate and inspire your teammates.
