Position: Full-Time Construction Estimator
Salary: $100,000 + 12% Superannuation

Key Responsibilities
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to determine construction requirements and prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to collect relevant information and evaluate site conditions impacting project costs and feasibility.
• Obtain, analyse, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and negotiate competitive pricing and contractual terms.
• Liaise closely with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, and contractors to ensure project scope, design intent, and costings are clearly defined and aligned.
• Prepare, develop, and present comprehensive cost plans, budgets, and feasibility reports to clients and internal stakeholders, including recommendations for cost optimisation and value engineering.
• Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of project tenders to achieve commercially viable and cost-effective outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 1 2 years’ experience working as a Construction Estimator or in a closely related role within the construction industry.
• Relevant studies in Project Management, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
