Position Title: Full-time Computer Network & Systems Engineer
Annual Salary: A$100,000 + superannuation
Onel is a leading consultancy company working in could services, data centre solution and network security services. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic computer network & systems engineer to join our friendly team.
Tasks include:
• Recommend improvements to existing systems and processors through analysis and keeping up with latest trends in the IT Industry.
• Showcase specialist skills in troubleshooting and supporting systems and network related problems.
• Planning, implementing/upgrading, testing and providing support for network, server and application infrastructure.
• Capacity planning based on monitoring to forecast future usage requirements and enhancements for optimal network and system performance.
• Be able to interpret, evaluate and develop complex data models and diagrams of network and virtualization environments.
• Monitor and analyze system and network performance metrics to ensure optimal operation.
• Documenting inventory, implementations, enhancements and modifications to networks and systems.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions.
• Ensure the solution compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies
Skill level required:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems & Networking
• 10+ years of experience in managing Cloud (AWS, Azure and GCP), Server and Network Environments is mandatory.
• Experience with GoogleApps, Office365, MS Exchange, Zimbra, NextCloud, Zentyal, Apache, Nginx, IIS, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience with the following technologies: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, VLAN, VPN/IPSec, SD-WAN, VoIP.
• Experience in Windows, RHEL and Ubuntu Server Administration.
• Experience in setting up and managing PBX environments.
• Experience in planning, designing and implementing range of enterprise and network environments.
• Good understanding of Change and Problem Management.
• Good understanding in Engineering Project Management, Product Evaluation and Performance Assessment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work within deadlines to a high standard.
