Full Time Civil Engineer

Position Overview
This permanent opportunity suits a degree-qualified Civil Engineer with strong construction experience who can act as a key conduit between external contractors, internal design teams, and project managers, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of building and residential construction projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide construction engineering support across building and residential construction projects.
• Analyse site conditions, surveys, and project data to assess feasibility and engineering requirements.
• Act as the primary technical interface between contractors, consultants, design teams, and project managers.
• Undertake and coordinate design reviews, respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), and resolve engineering and construction-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare, review, and manage civil engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Determine appropriate construction methodologies, materials, and quality standards in line with Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, councils, and stakeholders to obtain and maintain required approvals.
• Assess and report on environmental and regulatory compliance related to construction activities.
• Provide ongoing technical advice to ensure timely, safe, and compliant project delivery.
About You
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3- 5 years’ experience in civil construction or building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering principles, materials, and methodologies.
• Ability to interpret and review engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
