We are seeking 4 caring and dedicated Class Assistants to support children with special needs in a nurturing school environment in Abuja.

Work Setting: Special Needs School
Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in managing and caring for children with special needs

Assist pupils with daily routines (learning, play, feeding, hygiene where necessary)

Provide emotional support and encouragement to pupils

Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment

Observe children and report progress or concerns to teachers

Support learning activities and therapy sessions

What We Are Looking For:

Genuine love for children and strong empathy

High sense of responsibility, patience, and emotional intelligence

Ability to remain calm and supportive with children who have special needs

Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to learn and follow professional guidance

Requirements:

Minimum of SSCE/OND/NCE (education-related background is an advantage)

Previous experience with children is an advantage but not compulsory

Must be physically and emotionally fit for child care duties

Must be willing to undergo background and child-safety checks
