Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Fletcher Elementary School in Cambridge, VT
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff
PAY: $14.42 per hour
HOURS: 3:00 - 6:00 pm
The After-School Program team is responsible for:
Leading interactive activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, incorporating fitness, STEAM, academics, art, group learning, and homework help.
Ensuring a clean, safe, healthy, and welcoming environment while modeling positive behavior for children.
Reporting to work on time and prepared, with flexibility to stay until all children have departed the program.
Maintaining consistent daily communication with families using the Playground App.
Adhering to all state requirements, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and host school policies.
Select positions may also handle management duties such as attendance documentation, enrollment, and staffing coordination.
Requirements
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children
