Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Fletcher Elementary School in Cambridge, VT
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff
PAY: $14.42 per hour
HOURS: 3:00 - 6:00 pm

The After-School Program team is responsible for:

Facilitating hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, group activities, and homework support.
Maintaining a safe, healthy, clean, and enjoyable environment while serving as a positive role model for program participants.
Arriving on time and prepared to work scheduled shifts, remaining on site until the final child has been picked up.
Engaging in daily communication with parents and families through the Playground App.
Complying with state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school guidelines.
Some roles may include administrative responsibilities such as tracking attendance, managing registrations, and assisting with staffing needs.

Requirements
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children
