Healthy Kids Programs is looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Cairo Durham Elementary School in Cairo, NY
PAY: $16.00 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 9:00 am and 3:10 - 6:00 pm

JOB CONSISTS OF:

Help lead hands-on activities based on our Healthy Kids Curriculum, from fitness and STEAM to academic projects, creative arts, and more! Plus, support kids with their homework.
Provide a safe, healthy, and super-fun environment where children can flourish, and serve as the positive role model they can look up to every day.
Stay in touch with parents and families through the Playground App, sharing those special moments and updates they love.
Follow OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school rules carefully to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

You're 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have. We believe in potential and passion!
You've got the green light from your doctor - medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
You’re warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your jam, whether it's with kiddos, parents, or fellow team members. Plus, you're professional, reliable, and always prompt.
You're ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and basically do whatever it takes to keep up with kids!
