Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Vail Farm Elementary School in Lagrangeville, NY
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff
PAY: $16.00 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:45 am and 3:00 - 6:00 pm

The Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:

Leading hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and other group projects, along with assisting children with homework.
Maintaining a safe, healthy, clean, and engaging environment while acting as a positive role model for program participants.
Reporting to the program on time, ready to work, and staying until all children have been picked up.
Providing daily updates and communication with parents and guardians through the Playground App.
Following all state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and host school policies.
Certain roles may also include administrative duties such as keeping accurate attendance, managing registration, and supporting staff coordination.

Requirements
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
