Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff
PAY: $16.00 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:45 am and 2:10 - 3:30 pm

The Before and After-School Program Team is responsible for:

Leading engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and other group programs, along with providing homework support.
Maintaining a safe, healthy, clean, and enjoyable environment while serving as a positive role model for children in attendance.
Arriving prepared and on time for scheduled shifts and remaining until the final child has been picked up.
Communicating daily with families and parents through the Playground App.
Following all state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program procedures, and host school policies.
Some positions may also include administrative responsibilities such as managing attendance, registration, and staffing records.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ideally have at least one year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
Must be medically cleared of communicable diseases, including tuberculosis.
Should be warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills; professional, dependable, and punctual.
Physically capable of bending, lifting, carrying (up to 50 lbs.), stretching, and keeping pace with active children.
