We're on the lookout for a dynamic Director to lead our Before and After School Program at Port Allegany Elementary School in Port Allegany, PA. As the Site Director, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of the operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
PAY: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring Compliance: Guarantee that all staff and programming follow Pennsylvania state regulations, Healthy Kids operational standards, and host school policies.

Delivering Fun & Learning: Lead dynamic and hands-on activities inspired by our Healthy Kids Curriculum, with an emphasis on fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and guided homework time you’ll be the go-to homework helper!

Running a Tight Ship: Oversee administrative responsibilities including accurate record-keeping for attendance and enrollment, as well as ensuring staff coverage is always appropriate.

Family Communication: Keep parents and guardians in the know through regular updates via the Playground App.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Maintain open communication with your supervisor, providing timely updates and addressing issues proactively. Together, we’ll cultivate a positive work culture and deliver outstanding care.

Required Education & Experience:
To qualify as a Site Director, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or a related human services field and at least 1 year of experience working with children.

Bachelor’s degree (any field) with 30 credit hours in early childhood or related areas and 2 years of experience with children.

Associate degree in early childhood or related field and 3 years of experience with children.

Associate degree (any field) with 30 credit hours in early childhood or related subjects and 4 years of experience working with kids.

A physician’s clearance confirming you’re physically capable of meeting job duties and free from communicable illnesses, including TB.
A cheerful, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and teammates.
Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are second nature to you.
You’re ready for physical activity able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and stay energized with active youngsters!
