Role Overview:
Join Calibre’s dynamic team as a Structural Boilermaker, responsible for executing a variety of essential tasks including:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication and welding of structural steel components including beams, mechanical connections, and handrails for processing plant infrastructure.
-Carry out full penetration butt welds to meet ultrasonic testing (UT) standards.
-Execute flux cored arc welding (FCAW) and stick welding compliant with magnetic particle testing (MT) requirements.
-Assemble, install, and remediate structural steel elements, including removal of old beams and installation of new chutes and support structures.
-Work collaboratively within the structural team on-site to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
-Assist other crew members with general duties to maintain workflow and safety on-site.
-Comply with safety protocols, including working in the lead stream and maintaining required personal protective standards (e.g., being clean-shaven for respirator use).

Requirements:
- Relevant Trade Certificate in Metal Fabrication or equivalent qualification.
-Ability to pass a comprehensive Mine Site Medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
-Current or willingness to obtain High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) EWP, LF (Desirable: DG, RB/RI).
-Willingness to complete Mount Isa Mines mandatory training and courses as required.
-Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and assembly.
-Familiarity with working in mining or heavy industrial environments, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
