Contract Administrator (Full Time)
SALARY $90,000 plus superannuation per year
DUTIES
• Draft, review, and administer client, supplier, and service contracts, including variations, addendums, and project agreements in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, ensuring compliance with internal governance, regulatory standards, and agreed approval processes.
• Liaise with Project Managers, technical teams, and senior management to ensure contractual obligations, deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and service providers to address contract-related queries and support timely project delivery.
• Monitor contract performance, track milestones and outcomes, and prepare reports and summaries for management review.
• Maintain and manage a central contract repository, ensuring templates and agreements reflect current approved terms and conditions.
• Support proposals, and contract negotiations by identifying commercial risks and escalating matters for management or legal review where required.
• Process and document contract variations and amendments accurately, ensuring changes are approved and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives, including workplace health and safety and organisational risk management, by ensuring contractual alignment with company standards.
• Assist senior management with contract administration insights and implement agreed actions to improve operational and project efficiency.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• A minimum of bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing, and administering client, supplier, and service agreements, including variations, renewals, and compliance documentation.
• Sound understanding of contract lifecycles, governance, and documentation requirements within a commercial or technology-based business setting.
• Ability to support project delivery teams by monitoring contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience liaising with internal stakeholders, project managers, vendors, and external service providers to support contract and project outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and documentation accurately.
• High level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear correspondence, reports, and contract records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly adapt to contract management, ERP, or project management systems.
• Working knowledge of Australian commercial and legal frameworks relevant to service agreements, supplier contracts, and client engagements.
• Proactive, team-focused approach with the flexibility to work across technical and non-technical teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
