Position: Retail Store Supervisor (NOC 62010)
Terms of employment: Full-time
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefit: 5.77% of vacation pay

Job Duties
Supervise the daily operations of Hague BigWay Foods, ensuring smooth workflow and consistent delivery of high-quality customer service.
Train and schedule staff activities, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing on-the-job guidance, and offering input during the hiring process.
Oversee inventory levels by monitoring stock, coordinating replenishment, ordering merchandise and reporting shortages or discrepancies to management.
Support merchandising activities by maintaining organized shelves, ensuring accurate pricing, and helping implement promotional displays.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and authorize payments, refunds, and returns in accordance with store policies.
Open and close the store as required, including performing cash-out procedures and ensuring adherence to key control and security protocols.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Prepare routine reports such as sales summaries, inventory updates, and staff schedules, as directed by Management.

Skills
• Strong ability to supervise and coordinate staff in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Solid knowledge of cash handling procedures and retail point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering positive customer service experiences.
• Previous experience in retail supervision or a similar role is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Hague rural area.

Requirements
Completion of secondary school
Min. 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a retail sales environment
