Finance Manager - Manufacturing - Michigan

Salary Up to $150,000 + Benefits + Paid Relocation to MICHIGAN

Our client is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join their leadership team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This role is instrumental in driving financial transparency, operational efficiency, and strategic oversight, particularly in the management of major capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee fixed cost accounting for the plant, identifying opportunities for cost control and process optimization
• Lead and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
• Serve as the Finance Business Partner for large-scale capital projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams including sourcing and procurement
• Act as a Power BI Super User, leveraging data visualization to enhance reporting and decision-making
• Ensure strict compliance with SOX controls and internal financial policies

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience; paper industry background strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Power BI
• Proven expertise in capital management, budgeting, and cost control
• Flexibility to collaborate with international teams; minimal travel required.
