Full-Time Bakers
Location: Roselands, NSW 2196

DHAYA CHANDRA PTY LTD is looking for 2 skilled and experienced bakers to join our team. If you care about your craft and enjoy working where quality and consistency matter, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and present high-quality baked goods, including identifying and correcting dough faults.
• Use artisan techniques for bread production.
• Operate all kitchen equipment competently.
• Support retail staff and help coach apprentices and baker’s assistants.
• Assist the Production Manager with stock levels, production planning, and managing wastage and shrinkage.
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow all WHS requirements.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• An acceptable apprenticeship or AQF Certificate III with at least 2 years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV.
• At least 1 year of full-time relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the formal qualifications listed above.
• Strong background in scratch baking and hand-moulding.
• Confident in using ovens, mixers, and general bench equipment.
• Strong time management and a solid work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a busy, adaptable environment.
• Able to work rotating rosters with varied start times.
• Flexible to start early morning shifts and undertake weekend and public holiday work when required.
• Must have rights to work full time in Australia.

Salary $76,515 to $80,000 p.a. plus super.
