Full Time Cabinet Maker
SALARY AUD $76,515 + SUPERANNUATION

SUMMARY
We are now seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in a full-time position. This role requires flexibility and a varied skillset and we require people who share our genuine passion for the industry. We don't just do kitchens! We design all things related to cabinetry including laundries, bathrooms, mudrooms, wardrobes, office spaces, built-in shelves and storage, bookcases and media units. DUTIES
• Construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified by the foreman and client
• Verify and double-check all calculations to ensure alignment of doors, hinges and side panels, always using blueprints or design plans for reference
• Clean and repair all equipment necessary for your work, including handsaws, table saws, skill saws, and a variety of drills and sanding tools
• Be exact in measurements and markings so that materials will be used efficiently and the projects will meet budgetary restrictions
• Install the appropriate hardware, such as hinges and handles, and order replacement materials when needed
• Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for all the matching units
• Reinforce joints and attachments to maximize sturdiness and durability without compromising aesthetic appeal or functionality

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Must have 3 years of experience and vocational qualifications in woodworking
• Must have a Construction White Card
• Must have a Valid Driver’s Licence and vehicle
• Forklift Licence preferable
• Be able to interpret plans and drawings for cabinets/carpentry
• A can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be reliable, respectful and energetic.
• Can operate CNC
