Position Title: Full-time Contract Administrator
Salary: AUD $80,000 + Superannuation
The Employer is a professional cleaning and restoration business based in East Toowoomba, Queensland. They specialise in residential, regular commercial, industrial and post-construction cleaning, as well as an expanding portfolio of restoration and property refurbishment projects across the region.
The business is experiencing steady growth, particularly in the restoration space, and are now seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support their project management and commercial operations.
About the Role
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the commercial, contractual, and cost management aspects of ongoing and upcoming restoration projects.
You will work closely with the management team, project supervisors, and external contractors to ensure contracts are effectively managed and project goals are achieved within time and budget parameters.
Tasks include:
• Preparing, reviewing, and managing project contracts and supplier agreements.
• Coordinating with clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure contract terms are met.
• Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, progress claims, and variations.
• Monitoring project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to maintain compliance and profitability.
• Supporting tender preparation, procurement, and reporting processes.
• Preparing documentation and progress reports for management review.
• Assisting with the commercial administration of restoration and maintenance projects.
Skill level required:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in contract administration or cost management within the construction, fit-out, or restoration industries.
Strong knowledge of project documentation, contract interpretation, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project or contract management software.
