Part Time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Mobile Practice (West Valley, AZ)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our start-up mobile wound care practice serving the Phoenix, AZ area. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing organization and play a key role in shaping the future of patient-centered wound care delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound management, with the ability to provide advanced treatment and education while also collaborating closely with other healthcare providers. We are especially interested in candidates who have an existing patient following or referral network, or the potential to refer wound care patients to our mobile practice, to help accelerate growth while providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive wound assessments, including wound size, depth, and healing stage.
Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans.
Administer treatments such as dressings, debridement, topical applications, and skin graft care.
Educate patients and families on wound prevention, treatment, and self-care strategies.
Track patient progress and update care plans to ensure optimal healing outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
Document all care thoroughly in electronic health records (Tebra).
Support patients in critical care and transport situations as needed.
Leverage telemedicine platforms and technology (mobile devices, photo documentation) to enhance care delivery.
Qualifications:

Current Nurse Practitioner (RNP) license in Arizona with Medicare credentialing.
Previous wound care experience required; Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar) preferred.
Knowledge of advanced wound healing techniques, including skin grafts and dermal applications.
Strong patient education and communication skills.
Proficiency with technology, telemedicine platforms, and clinical documentation.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
Preferred: Established patient base, referral network, or ability to bring wound care patients to practice.

Schedule & Compensation:

Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 3 days/week) with room to expand as the practice grows.
Competitive compensation of $75.00 - $90.00 hourly, with growth opportunities as the patient base expands.
