SUMMARY
EDU Corporate Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Academic Administration Co-ordinator to join our team in Haymarket, NSW. This role is pivotal in managing academic administration processes, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in academic operations, policy coordination, and process improvement within a tertiary education or regulated training environment.
DUTIES
• Coordinate academic administration processes in line with compliance and quality frameworks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain academic information systems and data management procedures.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret academic and operational data for reporting and decision-making.
• Monitor student progression, assessments, and course delivery timelines.
• Liaise with trainers, academic staff, and internal departments to streamline communication.
• Review and update institutional policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Maintain accurate digital records and ensure confidentiality and data integrity.
• Support academic scheduling, timetabling, and coordination of term structures.
• Prepare performance and compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
• Assist with quality assurance audits, data reconciliation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance administrative efficiency across academic processes.
• Contribute to organisational planning and policy implementation related to academic operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Higher education qualification (essential)
• Minimum 2 3 years of professional experience in academic administration, compliance, or organisational policy coordination within a tertiary education provider or similar regulated environment.
• Proven experience in process improvement and policy documentation, including coordinating internal registers (e.g., Continuous Improvement Register) and creating governance reports.
• Experience providing academic support services, including student progress monitoring, developing study plans, and intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with onboarding, induction, and professional development frameworks for training and academic staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams (e.g., academic, compliance, and student services).
• Prior involvement in content creation, legal research, or academic policy development is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Learning Management Systems or student information systems is essential.
