ABOUT THE ROLE
As Chef de Partie you will support the day to day operations of your section, ensuring every dish meets our standards for flavour, texture and presentation. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistent service across lunch and dinner, helping maintain the smooth flow of a busy Italian kitchen.

Responsibilities
• Preparing and cooking dishes in your assigned section, with a strong focus on Italian techniques and flavour profiles
• Assisting with seasonal menu development, pasta specials, sauce work and antipasti preparation
• Guiding and supporting junior kitchen staff during service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
• Working efficiently during high volume periods while staying calm and focused
• Contributing positively to a respectful and collaborative team environment
Requirements
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role in a quality driven restaurant
• Strong understanding of Italian cooking, including fresh pasta, risotto, sauces and classical methods
• Passion for working with fresh produce and letting ingredients speak for themselves
• Organised, reliable and confident in maintaining consistency in a fast paced service
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
