$76,515 plus Superannuation
Grow ELC is a boutique, family-run business with centres based in Blacktown and Girraween. At our centres, we aim to provide high-quality education and care in a warm and secure environment. We are currently looking to recruit an Early Childhood Educator for our Blacktown centre who will be at the heart of our centre’s daily operations fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing space that inspires children to learn, explore, and grow. We pride ourselves on providing the highest possible standard of care and seek enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our team.
Skills and Experience:
• Someone who can make everyday fun and exciting for the children
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
• Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Experience with room leadership and team management would be an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Create a stimulating and positive environment for the children by planning fun and educational experiences by supporting children through their daily routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and transitions.
• Assist in preparing and setting up engaging educational and recreational activities and materials that inspire curiosity and learning.
• Support children’s social and emotional development by promoting positive behavior and adopting a friendly group environment.
• Work as a room leader, where you lead and participate in activities such as storytelling, games, and creative play to keep children engaged and inspired.
• Write observations and analyse children’s progression and development
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to create a warm and inclusive environment for children
• Promote and model good hygiene practices, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for all children.
• Lead and positively influence a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education
• Guide the team to meet the requirements of the Children’s Services Regulation by maintaining vigilant supervision during all activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child.
• Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers
• Display an energetic, positive attitude with a drive for continual growth and development
• Demonstrate a friendly and enthusiastic personality
