Full Time Shop/Retail Manager
Salary: $78,000 + Super

Summary
Babira Supermarket is a locally owned retail business providing a wide range of grocery, fresh produce, and household products. The store focuses on offering quality goods, competitive pricing, and friendly customer service, creating a convenient one-stop shopping experience for the local community.

Duties
- Oversee daily supermarket operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards suited to customer needs.
- Plan and manage stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and promotional displays.
- Plan and implement purchasing and marketing policies to achieve sales targets.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Supervise staff performance, training, and rostering to maintain service quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and food safety standards.
- Monitor sales, financial transactions, and prepare operational reports.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide product advice when required.
- Undertake budgeting and cost control to maximise profitability.

Required Skills
- Minimum 12 months of relevant experience in managing retail operations.
- Ability to lead and supervise retail team members.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, merchandising, and marketing principles.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements in retail operations.
