Job Description
Performs a variety of routine to complex clinical laboratory tests on patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of results while strictly adhering to laboratory protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and analyze tests in areas such as parasitology, hematology, serology and microbiology.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain clinical laboratory instrumentation.
Conduct quality control (QC) procedures and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Accurately record and report patient results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Follow all safety, compliance, and quality assurance guidelines.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification/licensure required.
Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
