Job Description:
Tasks
Prepare price quotations
Apply mathematical techniques to the solution of problems in scientific fieldsor other fields
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances,warranties anddelivery dates
Estimate costs of installing equipment
Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good orservice
Resolve product and service related problems
Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods orservices
Provide customer service
Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailoredto suit client'sneeds
Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods orservices
Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitorsand marketconditions
Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
Review bids and negotiate costs
Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conductresearch todetermine project requirements
Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures andinternal control
Prepare budget and cost estimates
