Position Overview
This position provides strategic financial leadership and oversight of accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will manage financial operations and budgeting while demonstrating expertise in budget control, refund identification, and audit management.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification or pursuing CPA (preferred)
7+ years of accounting and finance experience with demonstrated expertise in US payroll management and compliance
Strong expertise in budget and cost control with proven ability to manage expenses effectively and proactively identify refund opportunities and cost recovery initiatives
Advanced audit management and preparation skills with strong attention to audit requirements
Experience with healthcare or medical billing preferred
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable; prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Manage payroll processing and employee benefits with US compliance expertise
Develop, monitor, and control budgets with rigorous cost management oversight and conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to identify savings opportunities
Proactively identify and pursue refund opportunities and cost recovery initiatives
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and audit requirements, lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts; implement financial controls and procedures
