Job Title: Master Scheduler / Project Manager
Location: Belconnen, ACT (Hybrid 3 months onsite, then 3 days/week)
Contract: 8 months (with possible extensions)
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Security Clearance: Baseline required
Availability: Immediate joiners only
Experience: Minimum 7+ years (including 2+ years in ICT infrastructure scheduling)
Eligibility: Australian-based candidates only
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler / Project Manager to lead the development and management of master schedules across complex ICT programs. The role involves coordinating resources, managing interdependencies and risks, and providing executive-level reporting to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain master schedules for multiple ICT projects.
Sequence project milestones, manage interdependencies, and allocate resources effectively.
Identify schedule risks and recommend adjustments to maintain timelines.
Provide executive-level reporting including Gantt charts, milestone views, dashboards, and heat maps.
Conduct schedule walkthroughs with project managers and technical teams.
Transfer scheduling knowledge and maintain proper documentation in line with recordkeeping practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in ICT infrastructure projects, with at least 2+ years in scheduling.
Strong program-level scheduling expertise and experience managing complex project portfolios.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Power BI, and SharePoint.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration skills.
Ability to integrate workforce availability and project constraints into realistic schedules.
Desirable:
Experience delivering branch-level master schedules and supporting ICT infrastructure programs.
Strong executive reporting and dashboard creation experience.
Experience in federal or government ICT projects.
