Job Description
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Support with mobility, transfers, and use of aids or equipment as required.
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with eating and drinking where necessary.
• Prompt or administer medication in line with care plans and company policies.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Record daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients’ health or wellbeing.
• Report concerns or incidents promptly to supervisors or relevant professionals.
• Work in line with individual care plans, health and safety guidelines, and safeguarding policies.
