Job Description

In Fitchburg, complete clinical assessments (for youth and adult) for diagnostic treatment and referral purposes using specific evaluation instruments based on evidence and according to the client diagnosis. Plan, Develop treatment plans. Adjusting treatment plans to the client best therapeutic methods of approach such as Cognitive behavioral therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Systemic therapy, etc. Assist in the placement of clients in appropriate services as needed (i.e., employment and rehabilitation, job training, hospitalizations, Children and family services etc.) Participate in scheduled supervision with the clinical supervisor, diagnosis treatment. Provide psychotherapy and/or crisis intervention-based on the client need using exp and knowledge in Complex Trauma treatment, Cognitive behavioral Therapy and/or Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytical Therapy. Work with re-integration programs for clients recently released from incarceration, providing adjustment to normal daily life skills as well as social skills based on the client needs using experience working with serious mental health disorders as well as experience working with youth and adult population
The experience and education requirements are:
1 year of experience as a Psychotherapist or related
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related occupation, or the equivalent as determined by a credential evaluation agency
