Job Summary:
The Chief of Staff (CoS) is the CEO’s trusted partner and integrator, ensuring strategic focus,
organizational alignment, and effective external relations. The role amplifies the CEO’s capacity by managing internal execution and leading external engagement with stakeholders, government, and investors while handling corporate communications to strengthen the company’s reputation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. CEO Support & Strategic Alignment
Serve as the CEO’s thought partner in planning and decision-making.
Translate CEO priorities into actionable steps for division heads.
Monitor progress of strategic projects and report status.
Represent the CEO in internal meetings when delegated.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination
Ensure smooth communication and collaboration across farms, retail, swine trading, and corporate office.
Standardize management reporting and ensure accountability.
Anticipate bottlenecks and propose solutions.
3. Governance & Meeting Rhythm
Organize and run leadership/management meetings (agenda, notes, follow-ups).
Track commitments and hold leaders accountable.
Keep CEO’s office disciplined and focused on high-value work.
4. Investor & Stakeholder Relations (Non-Financial)
Support the CEO in managing relationships with investors, lenders, and key partners.
Provide non-financial updates on milestones, strategy progress, and ESG efforts.
Maintain transparency and timely communication to build trust.
5. Corporate Communications
Lead corporate messaging, both internal and external.
Oversee drafting of CEO speeches, talking points, and key announcements.
Ensure alignment of company communications with brand values and strategy.
Support media relations and crisis communications when needed.
6. Government & Regulatory Relations
Build and maintain strong ties with local and national government agencies.
Support the CEO in meetings with government officials and industry associations.
Track regulatory developments affecting agriculture, livestock, and retail.
Represent the company professionally in regulatory, compliance, and ESG forums.
7. Confidential & Special Projects
Handle sensitive matters for the CEO.
Lead selected initiatives (partnerships, expansions, ESG programs).
Maintain utmost confidentiality at all times.
Investor, Government & Stakeholder Relations
Zero missed commitments with stakeholders and regulators
Positive feedback from government agencies, investors, and partners on responsiveness & professionalism
Proactive management of regulatory issues before escalation
Corporate Communications
Timely delivery of all CEO speeches, announcements, and key messages
Consistent alignment of messaging with brand and strategy
Positive media and stakeholder sentiment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong background in strategic planning, operations, or executive support roles.
Experience working directly with C-suite executives, preferably in agriculture industry
Proven track record in project management, cross-functional coordination, and organizational
leadership.
Ability to established great relationship and strong network with internal and external connections.
