We’re now hiring for several roles in our After School Programs for the 2025 2026 school year across Schenectady, Albany, and Montgomery Counties. Positions are available within the following school districts: Shalmont Central School, Cohoes City School, and Amsterdam Central School Districts.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors
PAY RANGE: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and position)

Our Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:

Leading interactive, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, group games, and homework time.

Creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment while serving as a positive role model for program participants.

Maintaining daily communication with parents and guardians through the Playground App.

Adhering to all state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and individual school policies.

Some roles may also include administrative duties like tracking attendance, managing registration, and assisting with staffing needs.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You are 18 or older and have earned a high school diploma or equivalent.

One year of experience working with children under 13 is great but not required. We’re looking for passion and enthusiasm!

You are medically cleared to complete job duties and are free of communicable illnesses, including TB.

You bring positive energy, strong communication skills, and professionalism when working with children, families, and colleagues.

You’re physically ready for the role able to lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), bend, and stay active to keep pace with kids!
