The College of Education and Arts of Lusail University in Doha Qatar. Lusail University is a newly established national/private university. It is seeking to expand its programs locally and internationally. The university invites applications for an assistant professor in Politics specializing in gulf and middle east politics/ international relations/ conflict resolution/ geopolitical relations.

The program expects to conduct a search for the position immediately. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach various courses at introductory as well as upper-level courses. The position is for an Assistant Professor, ABDs will be hired as lecturer rank with higher teaching loads. The semester begins August 2024 and the teaching load for an Assistant Professor is four courses per semester. Applicants should have their Ph.D. in Political Science or closely affiliated field by January 2025, but ABD candidates may be considered. The teaching is in formal and standard Arabic and the candidate must be fluent in both English and Arabic. The terminal degree (PhD) from a UK / Canadian/ Australian/ and US universities.
