Matrix Unlimited is currently seeking a Rail Corridor Protection Officer to join our growing team for an immediate start!

We are seeking a dedicated Rail Corridor Protection Officer (RCPO) to ensure the safety of rail operations by managing the interface between the rail corridor and adjoining worksites. The RCPO will apply Queensland Rail’s Safety Management System and safeworking procedures, conduct safety briefings, and maintain compliance with operational standards across Brisbane’s marquee infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct track protection assessments and implement safeworking protocols
• Liaise with work crews, train controllers, and other stakeholders to ensure safe access to the rail corridor
• Deliver safety briefings and ensure compliance with Queensland Rail standards
• Monitor worksite conditions and respond to safety risks in real-time
• Maintain accurate records of protection activities and incidents
Job Description

Desired Skills and Experience
• TLIF0023 Conduct Track Protection Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior training in SARC, fatigue management, and communications
• NHS Category 1 or 3 Health Assessment
• QR Recipient ticket (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying field conditions.
• Strong understanding of Queensland Rail’s safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and situational awareness.
