Position Title: Full-time Engineering Technologist
Salary: $76,515 + superannuation
A leading engineering and manufacturing firm specialising in manufacturing switchboards, is seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Technologist to join their ranks. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with technicians and design teams to integrate engineering expertise into switchboard solutions.
• Electrical Fitting and Wiring of switchboards and control panels
• Prepare engineering technical drawings.
• Preparation of SOP’s, Machine maintenance schedules and review machine checklists.
• Develop and implement quality control measures in the production line.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address technical issues.
• ISO 9001 and compliance related work
• Quality assurance/control activities of assembled switchboards
• Interpretation of Drawings and inspection and identity of quality issues and reporting to top management
• Assisting in maintaining raw material stocks required for manufacturing of switchboards.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure performance and reliability.
• Conduct research and evaluate the chemical compatibility of raw materials under different environmental conditions.
• Ensure switchboard designs adhere to safety and environmental regulations while complying to relevant AS/NZS standards and state service installation rules.

Qualifications: to excel in this role, you should possess:
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1 years highly relevant work experience, with a focus on materials and process optimization.
• Familiarity in electrical engineering concepts, particularly related to switchboards would be an added advantage.
