The Job
Mission Statement

Organize & executes all aspects of logistics within a supply chain for local & oversea activities.
Main Accountabilities
Legal and Contract Management
Understands ABB’s standard terms and conditions and the impact upon the contract of differing and/or additionally accepted terms and conditions.
Understands project specific accepted terms and conditions base on legal Incoterm and obligation including awareness of risks of negative impact, performance and risk factors.

Import & Export logistic Management

Understand of import & export stature requirement for local & oversea markets
Execute, direction and coordinate as required for all transportation matters within organisation, vendors & customers
Plans, monitors and controls transportation activities include budgets, schedules & routes for incoming, permit application, exemption, outgoing and transfer of goods for the organisation.

Manage all forwarders / customer agents for local & oversea activities
Ensure close out activities and influences for an early close out.
Identifies and shares lessons learned to be recorded.
Manage multiple activities concurrently
Adapt and accommodate changes from time-to-time base on global requirements, local government regulation, or ABB internal system change.

Customer Satisfaction Management

Assures ABB commitments to customer are met, in accordance with contract.
Assures and seeks to improve customer satisfaction and feedback through consistent customer interaction, e.g. Communication, (phone, e-mail, etc.) and Customer meetings, kick off, review, etc.
Works proactively to set customer expectation to assure acceptance of timely deliverables even under challenging circumstances.

eProcurement Management
Work actively with a number of suppliers to obtain overall best possible purchase, in cooperation with the supply management function.
Coordinates/directs project transportation and logistics.
Reviews status of critical suppliers’ progress and include in overall schedule.
Initiates 3rd party inspections as required.
Ensures the proper application of ABB’s supplier qualification process

Resource Management
Manage Vendors / Suppliers for quotations and best cost.
Arrange vendors on resources for all local activities on deliverable include stuffing/unstuffing of goods, allocation of containers and import & export clearance documentations
Manage forwarder & counterparts on processes and documentation for smooth deliveries

Ideal Candidate
Basic Requirements

General degree
Min 2 years of experience in logistics /import & export /warehousing
SAP application knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to work independently and proactively.

Challenges

Ability to work with multi-project deliverable, different size, complexity and contractual types of incoterms.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum two years’ experience managing logistics & activities.
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma with domain experience
Experience with logistic deliverable of different size, complexity and contractual types.
