Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chinese Language Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive and engaging environment for children to learn Mandarin through fun, interactive lessons. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for Chinese language and culture. The Educator will also collaborate with our team as we expand our programs and connect with the local community.
Responsibilities
• Develop and lead fun, age-appropriate Chinese lessons that spark children’s interest in the language and culture
• Introduce basic vocabulary, speaking, and reading skills through stories, games, songs, and hands-on activities
• Create a warm and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity
• Provide gentle guidance and support to help each child progress at their own pace
• Observe and share student progress with parents to support continued learning at home
• Collaborate with team members to improve teaching strategies and plan future activities
Experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of educational best practices and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes is a plus.
