Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, and customization. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform for our clients. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering solutions for ITSM and other ServiceNow modules.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Module Development: Develop and implement solutions using ServiceNow, with a primary focus on ITSM. Must have expertise in at least one of the following ServiceNow modules: ITOM / ITBM / SPM / HRSD / ITAM / GRC / Scope or Custom Application / CSM.
Scripting & Customization: Write and maintain complex ServiceNow scripts (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, Script Includes) to meet business requirements.
Integration: Strong experience in integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, Web Services, or Integration Hub.
Module Implementation: Lead and support the implementation of at least one ServiceNow module from scratch, ensuring a seamless deployment.
Configuration & Customization: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure and customize the platform according to business needs, and create user-friendly solutions.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Ensure timely upgrades and maintenance of ServiceNow applications while minimizing business disruption.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other technical teams to ensure successful implementation and issue resolution.
Documentation: Develop technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations for internal and client reference.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with deep expertise in ITSM and at least one other ServiceNow module (ITOM / ITBM / SPM / HRSD / ITAM / GRC / Scope or Custom Application / CSM).
Scripting & Development: Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide API), business rules, client scripts, and other ServiceNow-specific scripts.
Integration Experience: Expertise in integrating ServiceNow with external systems and applications using various integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, Web Services).
Module Implementation: Proven experience in implementing at least one module from scratch in ServiceNow.
Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is preferred.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Tools: Knowledge of ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Orchestration, and Service Portal.
