Qualifications

• Required Education Background & Professional Experience
• Engineering degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good knowledge in applicable standards for machinery equipment as well as electrical installations
• Experience from electrical design within relevant sector such as industry or other large scale research infrastructure projects
• Experience from using ePLAN Electric P8 and ePLAN Pro Panel
• Experience from electrical design of machinery and/or process control system
• Strong problem solving, analytical methods and technical skills
• Ability to work effectively in and with team(s)
• Uses initiative to identify and resolve problems/issues and has good judgement

Responsibilities

• Support the project organisation with electrical design in terms of performing detailed design based on design specifications and input:
• Perform design of electrical cabinets for e.g. detector systems
• Perform verification of design
• Prepare specifications for fabrication and installation of electrical I&C systems and components
• Assist with procurement and fabrication of hardware
• Support with drafting e.g. preparation of As-built documentation
• Provide support to technicians during installation and testing phase of the project
• Assignment will include addressing small to medium size changes for all projects on items that need immediate attention as well as completing as-builts documentation
