Position Title: Full-time Electrical Engineer
Salary: A $ 75,000 + Superannuation

Trailblazers RV (TTRV) is an Australian Private Company with highly skilled team of qualified caravan builders and tradespeople who custom build a unique range of light weight recreational vehicles, including light Fifth wheelers and slide on campers. Trailblazers RV specialises in custom building and designing RV's that are built in their Melbourne factory.

Key attributes
• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems, focusing on safety, efficiency, and reliability
• Analyse electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and test activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
• Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
• Supervise or train project team members as necessary
• Estimate material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
• Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
• Maintaining electrical equipment
• Work with project managers on production efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget

Qualifications: to excel in this role, you should possess:
• Minimum 2-year work experience in relevant field
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree specialised in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Power system design and simulation: PSSE, ETAP, MATLAB
• Skills in Project management
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to self-learn, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good team player
