Main Duties:

1. Assisting in planning, facilitation, execution and management of ECD theme-oriented learning processes following a daily routine creatively and innovatively.

In this duty the individual should be able to:

· prepare resources and set up an ECD learning environment for babies, toddlers and young children

· work with families and communities to support early childhood development

· manage the holistic developmental stages of babies, toddlers and young children

· observe, monitor and report on child development milestones.

· provide/ support the care for babies in the centre

· design creative and fun activities to support the development of babies, toddlers and young children

· assist in the supervision of children during education field visits and tours

Key competencies, skills and attributes

The person should be :

1. Creative, Innovative, Energetic and friendly with kids.

2. Proficient in simple ECD English as a delivery language

3. Good storyteller/reader with creative art, singing, dancing or drama skills.
