Job Description
The OTR will perform the following duties:
1.-Evaluate clients and assess their strength, dexterity, balance, as well as other weaknesses to identify limitations.
2.-Develop the plan of care, analyzing the client’s needs, interests and their daily routine on our practice management software.
3.-Complete discharge documents when required.
4.-Clinical Supervision of COTAs
5.-Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for client.
6.- Other duties as required.
The COTA will perform the following duties:
1.- Implement each session and provide feedback to the OTR about the client's progress during treatment.
2.- Ensure clients perform activities correctly and offer encouragement.
3.- Teach patients and their families how to perform treatment techniques
4.- Document each session (progress notes) on our practice management software.
5.- Schedule sessions in the system.
6.- Set up and clean the treatment space after using it.
7.- Other duties as required.
We are looking for a bilingual OTR and COTA (English and Spanish preferred).
Applicant Qualifications
The candidate must:
1.-Hold an OTR or COTA License issued by the DOH.
2.-Hold NBCOT Certification.
3.-Hold a Florida Medicaid Provider number (for OTRs).
4.-National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
5.-Pass Level II Background Screening fingerprints
6.-One-year experience in a pediatric setting (preferred). Recently graduates are welcome too.
