REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12 supported by a relevant post matric qualification.
• Higher Professional Diploma, or equivalent NVQ Level 4 qualifications.
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years’ or proven purchasing experience, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
• Contract management and supplier experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes and components and supply chain management
• Computer literate, to include advanced Excel skills
• High ERP system acumen.
• Experience to the tendering / quotation process
