Job Description

Develop next-generation technology solutions that change how users connect, explore, and interact with software solutions. Responsible for leading design and development of end-use web and mobile applications for commissioning, monitoring, and controlling a suite of wireless, IOT-enabled devices. Develop client-side applications and software solutions, work closely with a multi-discipline team to meet customer requirements, and provide continuous improvement based on customer feedback. Lead human-centered design efforts for software solutions by defining UI/UX standards and ensuring that user experience best practices are implemented. Work directly with stakeholders and engineering to deliver high quality solutions. Understand and evaluate business needs and requirements to provide innovative, competitive solutions which provide value to the stakeholders. Work and thrive in an agile environment while still supporting and working within the constraints of capital-intensive hardware development projects. Lead front-end client-side web and mobile app development efforts. Lead UI/UX design and user research efforts. Lead a team of app developers including assigning daily tasks, approving pull requests, ensuring that coding best practices are followed, and training junior developers. Serve as product owner by performing sprint planning, backlog refinement, defining technical requirements, and prioritization of tasks. Serve as project lead by coordinating project management tasks and ensuring that projects stay on schedule and on budget as well as coordinating with other project stakeholders including marketing and centers of excellence. Support back-end server-side software and API development. Deploy test-driven development to ensure a high-quality product. Implement industry-leading cyber-security best practices to meet corporate standards and successfully pass cyber-security audits. Lead the project team to ensure timely project execution. Work with internal groups and third-party solution providers to provide seamless integration with internal and third-party systems. Work with development-operations to ensure scalability and reliability. Provide technical leadership in proposing and adopting new technology solutions, tools, and processes.

40 hours per week, Day shift.
Three (3) years of experience in the software industry delivering high quality solutions to customers.

Must have two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Full stack app development, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular, or React
- Developing web and mobile applications, including progressive web apps or cross-platform hybrid mobile apps
- Utilizing Java Script, Typescript, Rest Web services, HTML5 or CSS/SASS
- Cloud development

Must have one (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Cross-platform app development using framework, including Ionic or React Native
- Atlassian tool chain (Jira, BitBucket, or Confluence) or GIT/GitHub
- Working with native app development for iOS and Android environments
- NativeScript

Experience may be gained before, during, or after completion of undergraduate degree.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a directly related field
