We have an opening for a Merchant Services Sales Consultant in the Wilkes-Barre, PA metro area. This is a remote, field-based specialist responsible for providing merchant credit solutions to small business clients in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area.
The role is to drive responsible growth, consulting with small business clients in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area to help deliver service offerings that meet their needs with a focus on more complex opportunities and solutions. In this role one will spend dedicated time engaging with potential partners,and delivering in-person client appointments in the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area. Identifying merchant opportunities and gaining quality referrals will further your opportunities in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. Maintain and manage a strong pipeline for new revenue growth as well as developing and retaining existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Centers and Small Businesses in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area.
*Demonstrate a deep understanding and broad knowledge of Wilkes-Barre, PA merchants in either the Healthcare, Retail, Restaurant, Business to Business areas.
*Identify and support new client priorities in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area.
Continuously develop and maintain a strong pipeline for new revenue growth opportunities.
Act as a champion for your clients by connecting expertise across the company that helps them achieve their goals.
The ability to understand technical solutions and processes.
Maintain accurate records.
*Establish relationships with associations, chambers of commerce, centers of influence and vendor partners among others in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
2+ years of sales experience
Consultative selling experience
Proven relationship management
Demonstrated technical expertise
Role Qualifications:
Experience selling Merchant, Bankcard or Financial Services in similar field or face to face sales environment
Established sales, business development and negotiation skills
Is organizationally savvy; knows how to make connections and build relationships to get things done
Customer focused and highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Effective planning, time management and organizational skills
