The role Account Manager
Responsible for high quality day-to day deliverables on client accounts, with a focus on corporate communications and media relations.
Nurturing and maintaining junior relationships with existing clients and fostering relationships with new prospects.
Focusing on quality and having a deep understanding of our clients’ objectives, to provide insight, analysis and advice to our clients day-to-day.
Contributing to client meetings, ensuring consistent high standard of work, and providing clear feedback to junior members of the team on deliverables including monitoring notes and briefings.
Supporting and coaching junior account teams with their work and progression.
Playing a key supporting role within the team on business development and supporting delivery of the corporate communications marketing plan.
We’re looking for candidates with:
Experience delivering communications campaigns across channels.
A keen interest in current affairs, storytelling, speech-writing, politics, policy, digital campaigning and business.
Excellent writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
A passion for a fast-paced and varied working environment, such as in a busy press office, in-house communications team or PR agency.
Some experience of account management in agency, or equivalent in-house role with demonstrable experience of managing deliverables and working across teams.
Candidates with 3+ years’ experience in a communications role at a consultancy or relevant in-house role are preferred.
Experience using tools and databases like Roxhill, Meltwater or Signal (or similar).
A good understanding of the media (at a national, regional and trade level) and how the landscape is changing.

Work with well-known companies and brands in the FMCG, tech, retail, health and energy sectors making an important, tangible contribution to the UK.
Help these clients, and our team, to develop and execute campaigns.
