Sales and Marketing Manager
Full-Time (38 ordinary hours per week)
AUD $110,000 per annum (base salary) + Superannuation
SUMMARY
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of the company’s sales and marketing operations across mechanical repairs, crash repairs, used car sales, and auto parts. The position plays a key role in driving customer acquisition, brand development, and revenue growth, while ensuring high service standards and effective promotional campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position’s duties include but not limited to:
• Policy and Strategy Development
• Formulate and implement integrated sales, marketing, advertising, and public relations policies in consultation with the General Manager and other department leaders.
• Develop strategic marketing plans aligned with company goals across CMG Auto’s multiple business streams.
• Campaign and Product Strategy
• Direct the development and launch of new advertising initiatives and product/service promotions tailored to market trends and customer needs.
• Lead the planning and coordination of seasonal campaigns, digital promotions, community engagement events, and partnership marketing.
• Sales Management
• Organise and control all sales activities, including defining product mix strategies, identifying target market areas, and upholding customer service standards.
• Monitor team performance and set measurable targets across all sales channels.
• Provide ongoing training and leadership to the sales team to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
• Merchandising and Distribution Coordination
• Direct merchandising strategies, including visual presentation of used vehicles and parts, to enhance customer appeal.
• Coordinate sales activities across physical and digital platforms, including working with third-party distributors, car dealers, and online marketplaces.
• Manage the allocation of sales territories and ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Pricing and Sales Policy
• Set pricing structures, discounting strategies, and credit arrangements that align with market conditions and company profitability targets.
• Ensure pricing policies are implemented uniformly across departments and channels.
• Reporting and Analysis
• Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to refine business strategies.
• Report on sales performance, marketing ROI, and customer engagement metrics to senior leadership.
• Stakeholder and Client Engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, agencies, and advertising partners.
• Represent CMG Auto in business negotiations, trade exhibitions, and client engagement functions.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar sales and marketing leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team and deliver results across multiple business verticals.
• Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and campaign analytics.
Languages
Proficiency in English is essential. Bilingual skills in Mandarin are highly regarded due to the nature of our diverse client base.
