We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our growing kitchen team, ensuring excellence in food preparation and presentation while managing kitchen operations efficiently.
This full-time role is based in Katoomba, NSW 2780 with a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation. You must have a Certificate IV in a Culinary field or a higher-level qualification in this field and at least one year of full-time relevant industry experience.
The main duties are as follows:
• Develop and plan menus while managing food costs and portion control
• Prepare and cook dishes with accuracy, creativity, and consistency
• Uphold exceptional standards for food quality, taste, and presentation
• Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
• Manage inventory, place orders, and oversee daily kitchen operations
• Collaborate on the creation of new dishes and the refinement of existing menu items
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain strict adherence to all health, hygiene, and safety regulations
Successful candidates will be on an annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000 Plus Superannuation.
