We are seeking highly motivated Traders based in South Africa to join our expanding trading team. Whether you're a seasoned day trader, a budding market analyst, or someone with a sharp quantitative edge and a hunger to prove yourself, this role is built for driven professionals ready to excel.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trader at Pearl Lemon, you will be an integral part of a lean, high-performance trading unit focused on capital growth, risk-controlled strategies, and multi-asset operations. You will be given access to the tools, training, and autonomy needed to deliver consistent results.
Your responsibilities may include:
Executing trades across financial instruments including forex, indices, commodities, crypto, or equities, depending on your specialization

Monitoring market trends and news to inform trading decisions

Developing, testing, and refining trading strategies independently or in collaboration with team leads

Conducting technical and/or fundamental analysis to assess opportunities and risks

Maintaining detailed trading logs, performance reports, and compliance records

Adhering to risk management protocols and capital exposure limits

Participating in team meetings, strategy reviews, and skill-building sessions

Keeping up with relevant financial regulations and global market movements

What We're Looking For
We are seeking ambitious and analytical individuals who are either experienced in trading or show exceptional aptitude and drive to succeed. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
Prior experience in proprietary trading, retail trading, or investment analysis

Proficiency in technical tools such as TradingView, MT4/MT5, Thinkorswim, or similar platforms

Understanding of market indicators, candlestick patterns, charting tools, and position sizing

Strong numerical and analytical skills

A disciplined, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently

Solid grasp of risk management and trade psychology

Strong communication and reporting skills

Ability to work within a remote team across time zones and report performance metrics consistently

Bonus Points For:
Experience with algorithmic trading or scripting (Python, Pine Script, etc.)

A verified trading track record or live account performance documentation

Exposure to both short-term and long-term trading strategies
