Cook (full-time)
SALARY $75,000 + SUPERANNUATION

DUTIES
• Setting up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Cooking dishes in accordance with the menus and recipes
• Ensuring consistency and quality of all dishes
• Keeping kitchen area clean and organised
• Complying with food safety and hygiene requirements
• Storing food and other inventory properly
• Working with other team members effectively

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Certificate III or above culinary qualifications
• At least 3 years’ experience in commercial kitchen
• Previous experience in Japanese restaurants with knowledge of traditional Japanese cooking techniques are preferred
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
